A few weeks ago my husband informed me that he loves

Lemon Cupcakes~

Lucky for me (and for him), I stumbled across the perfect

Lemon(ish) Cupcake recipe on one of my favorite blogs.

If you haven't been introduced to Kasey Buick, then stop what you're doing,

literally [stop] reading this &

Okay, if you're anything like me then you've probably just realized that

you've been captivated by Kasey's creativity & humorous

writing/journaling and somehow (3) hours have past! Yikes!

These cupcakes were so easy that even I was capable of

baking the perfect lemon-tasting cupcake w/o burning down the kitchen!

Maybe that's because my 4 year old did most of the work?!

Yes, that frosting mix (Trader Joe's), was worth the stop going up I 5 on my last

trip to Portland. If you don't have any, get some. Some how, some way. Just do it.

Okay, laugh all you want, but these cupcakes could not have

been possible w/o Kasey Buick & her step by step instructions~

I kept her website pulled up and ready for veiwing just in case...

That would be my lil helper~ If you don't have one of these, then

I strongly suggest you borrow one~ (Legally!) *wink*

The frosting was amazingly easy and seriously {to-die-for}! For some reason

we ran out of frosting for all but 10 cupcakes... I might have mentioned a

'taste test' to my helper...

I chose to decorate my cupcakes w/Easter candy due to the fact that

Easter was just 3 days away.
